Jacksonville: Patients Stranded by Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Provider

I–TEAM Investigates An I–TEAM investigation has revealed that some patients are being left stranded by a non–emergency medical transportation provider. The I–TEAM has uncovered several issues with the provider, including inadequate staffing, lack of communication and delays in providing services. We spoke to several patients who have been affected and their families about their experiences. In addition, we reviewed company records and interviewed company officials to get a better understanding of how this provider operates. Our investigation uncovered a number of issues that have left patients stranded and in need of medical transportation.
