Are drivers background checked? Are they trained in passenger assistance and securement? Are vehicles inspected and sanitized between trips? Is the company licensed and insured for patient transport?
Service and scope
Is the service door to door or curb to curb? Will the driver assist with steps? Can they sign a rider in and out at a facility? What happens if an appointment runs two hours long?
Money
Is the quote all-in? What triggers an extra charge? A provider that answers these plainly is a provider you can plan around.
